SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2758 by House Committee on Veterans and Military
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2758 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
The bill would change “military service” to “active service” and update the meaning to
include the space force. The bill would also clarify that “active service” includes any of the several
states and territories, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.
The Adjutant General and the Commission on Veterans Affairs both state that the bill
would not have a fiscal effect.
