SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 397 by Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and
Insurance
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 397 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
SB 397 would amend title insurance reporting requirements. The bill would eliminate
annual controlled business reporting requirements that are placed on title agents and insurers.
The Insurance Department states that the bill would not have a fiscal effect on agency
operating expenditures or revenues.
