Dear Senator Bowers:

SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 63 by Senator Corson, et al.

In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 63 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.

SB 63 would allow funds received by a candidate who is subject to the Campaign Finance
Act to be used by the candidate for expenses incurred for family caregiving services. The bill
would define “family caregiving services” as care for an individual who is an immediate family
member under 13 years of age; disabled; or qualifies for senior care services.

The Kansas Secretary of State’s Office and the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission
indicate that SB 63 would have no fiscal effect on the Office or Commission, respectively.

 	Sincerely,

 	Adam Proffitt
 	Director of the Budget
