SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 9 by Senator Steffen
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 9 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
SB 9 would add tianeptine to Schedule I of the Kansas Controlled Substance Act making
it illegal to possess or prescribe in Kansas.
The Kansas Board of Pharmacy, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and the Office of the
Attorney General indicate that SB 9 would have no fiscal effect on the agencies.
