SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2238 by House Committee on Appropriations
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2238 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
Under current law, the Kansas Legislative Research Department has the responsibility to
prepare minutes of each legislative committee meeting to show attendance, agenda items, tentative
and final committee decisions, staff instructions, and any other committee meeting matters. HB
2238 would transfer these duties to Legislative Administrative Services.
Both Legislative Administrative Services and the Kansas Legislative Research Department
indicate that the enactment of HB 2238 would have no fiscal effect.
