SESSION OF 2025 SUPPLEMENTAL NOTE ON HOUSE BILL NO. 2387 As Amended by House Committee on Taxation Brief* HB 2387, as amended, would extend the sunsets on tax credits for contributions to the Friends of Cedar Crest Association and the Eisenhower Foundation from December 31, 2025, to December 31, 2026. Background The bill was introduced by the House Committee on Taxation at the request of a representative of the Friends of Cedar Crest Association. House Committee on Taxation In the House Committee hearing, proponent testimony was provided by representatives of the Friends of Cedar Crest Association and the Eisenhower Foundation. The proponents generally stated the credits encourage donors to support the mission of the benefiting organizations and requested the addition of the extension of the sunset for the credit for the Eisenhower Foundation. No other testimony was provided.
