 SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 125 by Joint Committee on Special Claims Against the 
State 
 
 In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 125 is 
respectfully submitted to your committee. 
 
 SB 125 would direct agencies to pay claims against the state from their existing State 
General Fund appropriations in FY 2025. The claims in this bill affect the Department of 
Corrections, the Department for Aging and Disability Services, and the Department of Health and 
Environment.
