SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 27 by Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and
Insurance
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 27 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
SB 27 would remove the requirement of the Insurance Commissioner to provide the
Governor an annual report on the general conduct and condition of insurance companies, including
fraternal benefit societies that do business in Kansas. The bill would also make technical changes.
The Kansas Department of Insurance states that the bill would not have a fiscal effect.
