AN ACT relating to appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘Section 1. KRS 45.111 is amended to read as follows: 3
Any funds received into the State Treasury which are later determined not to be due to 4
the state may be refunded to the person who paid such funds into the Treasury. The 5
Finance and Administration Cabinet may issue a warrant to disburse the funds upon a 6
request from the budget unit that originally received and deposited the funds. The request 7
for refund must be approved by the head of the budget unit or his or her designated 8
assistant. The Finance and Administration Cabinet may require any documentation 9
deemed necessary. 10
