A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of John D. Cox to the Kentucky 1
State Fair Board. 2
WHEREAS, on June 2, 2022, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2022-310, Governor Andy Beshear appointed John D. Cox to the 4
Kentucky State Fair Board to replace Tandy Carol Patrick, whose term expired, to serve a 5
term expiring May 10, 2026; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, John D. Cox has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
247.090, representing members at large; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of John D. Cox to the 13
Kentucky State Fair Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to John D. Cox, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky and to 16
Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
