A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Mark Barker to the Agricultural 1
Development Board. 2
WHEREAS, on October 20, 2022, in accordance with KRS 248.707 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2022-003, Commissioner Ryan F. Quarles reappointed Mark Barker 4
to the Agricultural Development Board for a term expiring on July 6, 2026; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Mark Barker has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
248.707, representing agriculture lenders; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Mark Barker to the 12
Agricultural Development Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Mark Barker, Crestwood, Oldham County, Kentucky and to 15
Commissioner Ryan F. Quarles, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
