A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Ruth Shelton Martin to the Board 1
of Nursing. 2
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2022, in accordance with KRS 314.121 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2022-804, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Ruth Shelton 4
Martin to the Board of Nursing to replace Jimmy T. Isenberg for a term expiring June 30, 5
2026; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Ruth Shelton Martin has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 314.121, representing registered nurses engaged in practical nurse education; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Ruth Shelton Martin 13
to the Board of Nursing. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Ruth Shelton Martin of Monticello, Wayne County, 16
Kentucky and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
