A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Betty Cook to the Governor's 1
Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee. 2
WHEREAS, on May 31, 2022, in accordance with KRS 164.005 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2022-300, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Betty Cook to the 4
Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee for a term expiring April 5
14, 2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Betty Cook has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
164.005; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Betty Cook to the 13
Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Betty Cook of Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky and to 16
Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
