A RESOLUTION honoring Kentucky Dental Association President Dr. Donald 1
"Don" Heine. 2
WHEREAS, Dr. Donald "Don" Heine is a proud graduate of Union County High 3
School, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry; 4
and 5
WHEREAS, Dr. Heine completed his General Practice Residency at the University 6
of Mississippi College of Dentistry and served on the faculty there for one year, and 7
completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital 8
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and 9
WHEREAS, Dr. Heine returned to Kentucky in 1988 to open his practice in 10
Paducah, Kentucky; and 11
WHEREAS, Dr. Heine is a member of the American Dental Association, the 12
American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of 13
Oral Implantologists, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists; and 14
WHEREAS, Dr. Heine was elected to serve as president of the Kentucky Dental 15
Association in 2022; and 16
WHEREAS, this august body honors Dr. Heine on this day for his many years of 17
service to the citizens of western Kentucky, and thanks him for his exemplary service as 18
president of the Kentucky Dental Association; 19
NOW, THEREFORE, 20
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 21
Kentucky: 22
Section 1. The Senate honors Dr. Donald "Don" Heine for his work as president 23
of the Kentucky Dental Association. 24
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor of Kentucky 25
Dental Association President Dr. Donald "Don" Heine. 26
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 27 UNOFFICIAL COPY 23 RS BR 1157
