AN ACT relating to adoption. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘Section 1. KRS 405.390 is amended to read as follows: 3
An adult person over eighteen (18) years of age may be adopted in the same manner as 4
provided by law for the adoption of a child and with the same legal effect, except that his 5
or her consent alone to such adoption shall be required. 6
