AN ACT relating to medical residency programs at Level II verified trauma centers. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 205 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, if a Level II verified trauma 5
center partners with a public or private university to establish a medical residency 6
program at the Level II verified trauma center, the Level II verified trauma center shall 7
be entitled to the same reimbursement rate for services delivered as part of that 8
residency program as would be paid to a university hospital as defined in KRS 9
205.6405. 10
