AN ACT relating to alternative fuels. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘Section 1. KRS 152.714 is amended to read as follows: 3
From a list of potential sites developed by the Office of Energy Policy within the Energy 4
and Environment Cabinet which are[and] suitable for development of alternative fuel 5
facilities, gasification facilities, or renewable energy facilities as defined in KRS 154.27-6
010, the Office of Energy Policy within the Energy and Environment Cabinet may 7
expend state funds for preliminary environmental and baseline assessments, inventories, 8
and other activities on or for the potential sites in furtherance of environmental or other 9
permitting required for the development of an eligible project. 10
