A JOINT RESOLUTION designating the L.G. Frazier Memorial Bridge in Floyd 1
County. 2
WHEREAS, L.G. Frazier was a prominent member of the community of Price, 3
Kentucky, and served as its Postmaster until the time of his death in 1960; and 4
WHEREAS, L.G. Frazier's children have continued his life of public service, with 5
two of them becoming educators, and his family still has an impact in the community; 6
and 7
WHEREAS, the Floyd County Fiscal Court recently adopted a Resolution 8
endorsing the designation of a bridge in Floyd County to honor the life of L.G. Frazier; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 11
ď˘Section 1. The Transportation Cabinet shall designate the bridge on Kentucky 12
Route 122 in Floyd County at mile point 23.334 (Bridge Number 036B00006N) as the 13
"L.G. Frazier Memorial Bridge" and shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this 14
Resolution, erect appropriate signs denoting this designation. 15
