A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Thomas 1
Eugene "Tom" Brahm. 2
WHEREAS, Thomas Eugene "Tom" Brahm was born on August 6, 1958, in 3
Marion County, Kentucky, to the late Norbert Lee Brahm, Sr. and Nell Peterson Brahm; 4
and 5
WHEREAS, Tom Brahm was a devoted member of his community, serving as the 6
honorable mayor of Loretto; and 7
WHEREAS, Tom Brahm acted as president of Brahm Trucking Service and as a 8
real estate agent and auctioneer with The Lancaster Agency; and 9
WHEREAS, Tom Brahm was a faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic 10
Church in Manton, Kentucky. His dedication to his faith led him to become a Grand 11
Knight and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1264 in Lebanon, 12
Kentucky; and 13
WHEREAS, Tom Brahm departed this earthly life on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 14
the age of 64. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jack Brahm and 15
Ben Brahm; and 16
WHEREAS, Tom Brahm is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Debbie Brahm; 17
two beloved sons, Tom "Deuce" Brahm II (Annemarie) and James Cody Lee Brahm 18
(Rachel); one grandson, Camden Stiles; and ten siblings, Betty Ann Harned (Marvin), 19
Mary Sue Smith (Joe), Pat O'Daniel (Robby), Lee Brahm (Theresa), Kathy Abell (Bob), 20
Ray Brahm (Linda Blair), Bernadette O'Daniel (Mark), Carolyn Brahm (Eddie Hill), 21
Margaret Reynolds (Mike), and Ricky Brahm (Rebecca); 22
NOW, THEREFORE, 23
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 24
Kentucky: 25
Section 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound sympathy upon the 26

Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 1
