A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Candace McGraw to the 1
Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on August 2, 2023, in accordance with KRS 164.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-444, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Candace McGraw to the 4
Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents to replace Wendy 5
Fletcher for a term expiring July 21, 2029; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Candace McGraw has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 164.321; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Candace McGraw to 13
the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Candace McGraw of Union, Boone County, Kentucky, and 16
to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
