A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Amber Powell to the Board of 1
Nursing. 2
WHEREAS, on September 19, 2023, in accordance with KRS 314.121 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2023-545, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Amber Powell to 4
the Board of Nursing for a term expiring June 30, 2027; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Amber Powell has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
314.121 representing the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Amber Powell to the 12
Board of Nursing. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Amber Powell of Morganfield, Union County, Kentucky, 15
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
