A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Michael Edward Berry to the 1
Kentucky State Fair Board. 2
WHEREAS, on June 6, 2023, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-288, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Michael Edward Berry to 4
the Kentucky State Fair Board to replace Philip W. McCoun for a term expiring June 5, 5
2027; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Michael Edward Berry has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 247.090, representing members at large; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Michael Edward 13
Berry to the Kentucky State Fair Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Michael Edward Berry, Louisville, Jefferson County, 16
Kentucky and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
