A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Cathy Chanelle Gunn to the 1
Education Professional Standards Board. 2
WHEREAS, on October 19, 2023, in accordance with KRS 161.028 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2023-650, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Cathy Chanelle Gunn 4
to the Education Professional Standards Board for a term expiring June 30, 2026; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Cathy Chanelle Gunn has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 161.028, representing middle school teachers; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Cathy Chanelle 12
Gunn to the Education Professional Standards Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Cathy Chanelle Gunn of Louisville, Jefferson County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
