A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Andrew Belcher to the 1
Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee. 2
WHEREAS, on June 22, 2023, in accordance with KRS 164.005 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-342, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Andrew Belcher to the 4
Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee to replace Matthew Price 5
for the remainder of the term expiring April 14, 2026; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Andrew Belcher has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 164.005; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Andrew Belcher to 13
the Governor's Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Andrew Belcher of Madisonville, Hopkins County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
