A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Mary G. Eaves to the Board of 1
Trustees of the Kentucky Retirement Systems. 2
WHEREAS, on June 22, 2023, in accordance with KRS 61.645 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-346, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Mary G. Eaves to the 4
Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Retirement Systems to replace John Cheshire for a 5
term expiring June 21, 2027; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Mary G, Eaves has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
61.645(1)(d); 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Mary G. Eaves to the 13
Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Retirement Systems. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Mary G. Eaves of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, 16
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
