UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 2544 Page 1 of 2 XXXX 4/11/2024 9:51 AM Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Brady 1 Delaney. 2 WHEREAS, Brady Delaney was born on September 29, 2004, to Elizabeth and Bill 3 Delaney; and 4 WHEREAS, Brady Delaney was an esteemed resident of Alexandria, Kentucky, 5 and a 2022 graduate of Campbell County High School. He was a five-year player and 6 team captain of the CCHS soccer team. He had a "team first" mentality and his positive 7 attitude has forever resonated with opponents and teammates alike; and 8 WHEREAS, Brady Delaney became a licensed realtor at the age of 19 for Keller 9 Williams Realty, Inc., where he earned the 2023 Debbie Marshall Robke Productivity 10 Award. He was a dedicated employee of Planet Fitness in Alexandria where he was loved 11 by the staff and patrons. He was the first to share words of encouragement or give you a 12 simple smile; and 13 WHEREAS, Brady Delaney championed his role as a son and friend, always 14 supporting friends and family in everything they did. He shared a love of the Marvel 15 franchise with his friends and would host an annual Marvel movie marathon that lasted 16 four days; and 17 WHEREAS, Brady Delaney passed away on April 2, 2024, and was preceded in 18 death by his paternal grandparents, John and Ann C. Delaney, and his great-grandparents, 19 Theresa and Arthur Reis, Florence Edwards, William Edwards, John and Florine 20 Delaney, and William and Edna Campbell; and 21 WHEREAS, Brady Delaney is survived by his parents; siblings, Nate Delaney, Jack 22 Delaney, and Addison Delaney; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sally Reis; uncles and 23 aunts, Joe (Janie) Reis, Jeffrey Reis, Rebecca (Phil) Geiman, Angie Duff, Ed (Sharon) 24 Delaney, John (Karen) Delaney, Tim (Yvonne) Delaney, Fran (Mike) Bryant, and Rose 25 (Mac) McCall; dear friends, Beckett, Connor, Alex, Ethan, Logan, Brayden P., Parker, 26 Liam, Jackson, Devin, Payton, Brayden K., Raymond, Anthony, Elliot, and Cooper; and 27 UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 2544 Page 2 of 2 XXXX 4/11/2024 9:51 AM Jacketed a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones; 1 NOW, THEREFORE, 2 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 3 Kentucky: 4 Section 1. The Senate hereby extends its most profound sympathy upon the 5 passing of Brady Delaney and expresses heartfelt condolences to his family in this time 6 of loss. 7 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns today, it does so in honor and loving 8 memory of Brady Delaney. 9 Section 3.
