UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 2531 Page 1 of 1 XXXX 4/9/2024 8:24 AM Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Mary Jo 1 Keene. 2 WHEREAS, Mary Jo Keene was born on September 10, 1954, to Howard Hall and 3 Ocelene Newman Hall; and 4 WHEREAS, Mary Jo Keene worked as a teachers aide and a law office 5 receptionist, and was a member of the Free Will Baptists; and 6 WHEREAS, Mary Jo Keene departed this earthly life on March 11, 2024; and 7 WHEREAS, Mary Jo Keene is survived by her sons, Joseph Edward Keene and 8 Shane Allen Akers; daughter, Misty Shae Gibson; brothers, Howard Keith Hall and Dr. 9 Ronald Hall; grandchildren, Quintin Keene, Charlie Wallace, Harley Chaney, and Cecilia 10 Marie; and a host of loving family and friends; and 11 WHEREAS, in addition to her parents, Mary Jo Keene was preceded in death by 12 her husband, Eddie Ray Keene; and her daughter, Heather Rene Akers; 13 NOW, THEREFORE, 14 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 15 Kentucky: 16 Section 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound sympathy upon the 17 passing of Mary Jo Keene. 18 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 19 memory of Mary Jo Keene. 20 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 21 Resolution to Senator Phillip Wheeler for delivery to the family. 22
