A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Joe T. Goggin to the Kentucky 1
State Fair Board. 2
WHEREAS, on November 6, 2023, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2023-004, Commissioner Ryan F. Quarles reappointed Joe. T Goggin 4
to the Kentucky State Fair Board for a term expiring May 10, 2026. 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Joe T. Goggin has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
247.090, representing animal agriculture; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Joe T. Goggin to 12
the Kentucky State Fair Board. 13
Section 2. The clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Joe. T Goggin, Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky, and to 15
Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
