He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Reed Epling; 8 brothers, Thomas Epling, Jimmy Epling Jr., John Henry Epling, and Reed Epling; sisters, 9 Opal Williams, Orva Wild, Ruby Little, and Norma Epling; and 10 WHEREAS, Billy Jack Epling is survived by his son, Ben (Teresa) Epling; twin 11 sister, Betty Matney; grandchildren, Mandy Lindsey, Misty Bowen, Matthew Epling, 12 Nicholas Epling, Billy Mike Epling, and Bemedji Epling; and great-grandchildren, Bella, 13 Reed, Lucy, Ashlyn, Landon, Brody, Penny, Colton, Lane, and Cecilia; 14 NOW, THEREFORE, 15 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 16 Kentucky: 17 Section 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound sympathy upon the 18 passing of Billy Jack Epling. 19 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 20 memory of Billy Jack Epling. 21 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 22 Resolution to Senator Phillip Wheeler for delivery to the family. 23
