A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Charles Edward Meade to the 1
Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on January 18, 2024, in accordance with KRS 150.022 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-045, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Charles Edward Meade 4
to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission to replace Paul Horn for a term expiring 5
December 31, 2027; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Charles Edward Meade has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 150.022, representing the Seventh Commission District; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Charles Edward 13
Meade to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Charles Edward Meade of Johnson County, Kentucky, and 16
to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Suite 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
