UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 1389 Page 1 of 1 XXXX 1/5/2024 2:19 PM Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Roger 1 Pigg. 2 WHEREAS, Roger Pigg was born on October 6, 1955, the son of the late Orville 3 and Marie Stapleton Pigg; and 4 WHEREAS, Roger Pigg was a retired coal miner and a devout Christian; and 5 WHEREAS, Roger Pigg departed this earthly life on April 23, 2023, at the age of 6 67; and 7 WHEREAS, in addition to his parents, Roger Pigg was preceded in death by his 8 sister, Phyllis Stalker; and 9 WHEREAS, Roger Pigg was loved dearly by his wife, Diane Bartley Pigg. He is 10 also survived by his son, Tyler Pigg; his sisters, Janie Ratliff and Patricia Childers; and a 11 host of other friends and loved ones. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, 13 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 14 Kentucky: 15 Section 1. The Senate hereby extends its most profound sympathy upon the 16 passing of Roger Pigg and expresses heartfelt condolences to his family in this time of 17 loss. 18 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 19 memory of Roger Pigg. 20 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this 21 Resolution to Senator Phillip Wheeler for delivery to the family. 22
