A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Sanford Junior Holbrook to the 1
Morehead State University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-483, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Sanford Junior 4
Holbrook to the Morehead State University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 5
2030; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Sanford Junior Holbrook has been determined to meet the 8
requirements of KRS 164.321; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Sanford Junior 13
Holbrook to the Morehead State University Board of Regents. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Sanford Junior Holbrook of Mount Olivet, Robertson 16
County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, 17
Kentucky 40601. 18
