A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Thomas George Polites as an 1
administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims. 2
WHEREAS, on June 4, 2024, in accordance with KRS 342.230 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-394, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Thomas George Polites 4
as an administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims for a term expiring 5
July 14, 2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Thomas George Polites has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 342.230; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Thomas George 13
Polites as an administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Thomas George Polites of Lexington, Fayette County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
