A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Jacob Higgins to the Board of 1
Nursing. 2
WHEREAS, on November 13, 2024, in accordance with KRS 314.121 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2024-752, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Jacob Higgins 4
to the Board of Nursing for a term expiring June 30, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Jacob Higgins has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
314.121, representing graduate degree nurse educators; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Jacob Higgins to 12
the Board of Nursing. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Jacob Higgins of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, 15
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
