A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Mary Leigh Lewis to the 1
Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee. 2
WHEREAS, on October 9, 2024, in accordance with KRS 158.6453 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-674, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Mary Leigh Lewis to 4
the Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee for a term expiring May 27, 5
2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Mary Leigh Lewis has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 158.6453, representing science teachers; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Mary Leigh Lewis 13
to the Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Mary Leigh Lewis of Catlettsburg, Boyd County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
40601. 18
