A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of David L. Figg to the University of 1
Kentucky Board of Trustees. 2
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.131 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-482, Governor Andy Beshear appointed David L. Figg to the 4
University of Kentucky Board of Trustees to replace Kimberly McCann for a term 5
expiring June 30, 2030; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, David L. Figg has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
164.131; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of David L. Figg to the 13
University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to David L. Figg of Beaver Dam, Ohio County, Kentucky, and 16
to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
