A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Lori McKeehan to the Education 1
Professional Standards Board. 2
WHEREAS, on August 8, 2024, in accordance with KRS 161.028 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-551, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Lori McKeehan to the 4
Education Professional Standards Board to replace Sarah Weedman for a term expiring 5
June 30, 2026; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Lori McKeehan has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
161.028, representing elementary school teachers; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Lori McKeehan to 13
the Education Professional Standards Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Lori McKeehan of Gray, Knox County, Kentucky, and to 16
Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
