A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Ashli Watts to the Energy 1
Planning and Inventory Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on August 26, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.2807 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-571, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Ashli Watts to the 4
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Ashli Watts has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.2807, representing Kentucky's economic interests; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Ashli Watts to the 12
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2026, in 13
accordance with 2024 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec. 5. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Ashli Watts, of Frankfort, Franklin County, Kentucky, and 16
to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
