A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Frederick A. Higdon as a 1
member and the chairperson of the Board of Tax Appeals. 2
WHEREAS, on July 30, 2024, in accordance with KRS 49.020 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-518, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Frederick A. Higdon as 4
a member and the chairperson of the Board of Tax Appeals, for a term expiring June 29, 5
2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Frederick A. Higdon has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 49.020; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Frederick A. 13
Higdon as a member and the chairperson of the Board of Tax Appeals. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Frederick A. Higdon, of Lebanon, Marion County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
