A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Laura Sanderfur to the Kentucky 1
Agricultural Development Board. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2024, in accordance with KRS 248.707 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-004, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Laura Sanderfur to 4
the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board for a term expiring July 31, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Laura Sanderfur has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 248.707, representing farmers with agricultural diversification; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Laura Sanderfur to 12
the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. 13
Section 2. The clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Laura Sanderfur of Hartford, Ohio County, Kentucky, and 15
to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
