A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of David Bryan Sloan to the Mine 1
Safety Review Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on May 23, 2024, in accordance with KRS 351.1041 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-352, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed David Bryan Sloan to 4
the Mine Safety Review Commission for a term expiring May 22, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, David Bryan Sloan has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 351.1041; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of David Bryan Sloan 12
to the Mine Safety Review Commission. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to David Bryan Sloan of Ft. Mitchell, Kenton County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
