A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Wesley Cate to the Energy 1
Planning and Inventory Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on September 10, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.2807 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2024-611, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Wesley Cate to 4
the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Wesley Cate has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.2807, representing Kentucky oil and gas producers; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Wesley Cate to the 12
Energy Planning and Inventory Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2025 in 13
accordance with 2024 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec.5. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Wesley Cate of Evergreen Colorado, and Pulaski County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
