A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Jonathan R. VanHoose to the 1
Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee. 2
WHEREAS, on October 9, 2024, in accordance with KRS 158.6453 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-674, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Jonathan R. VanHoose 4
to the Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee for a term expiring 5
October 8, 2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Jonathan R. VanHoose has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 158.6453, representing social studies teachers; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Jonathan R. 13
VanHoose to the Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Jonathan R. VanHoose of Paintsville, Johnson County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
