A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Andrew Daniel Belcher to the 1
Murray State University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on December 13, 2024, in accordance with KRS 164.321 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2024-851, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Andrew Daniel Belcher 4
to the Murray State University Board of Regents to replace Virginia Gray for a term 5
expiring December 12, 2030; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Andrew Daniel Belcher has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 164.321; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Andrew Daniel 13
Belcher to the Murray State University Board of Regents. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Andrew Daniel Belcher of Madisonville, Hopkins County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
40601. 18
