A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Leigh Amber Snell to the 1
Education Professional Standards Board. 2
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2024, in accordance with KRS 161.028 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2024-472, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Leigh Amber Snell to 4
the Education Professional Standards Board for a term expiring June 29, 2027; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Leigh Amber Snell has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 161.028, representing middle school teachers; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Leigh Amber Snell 12
to the Education Professional Standards Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Leigh Amber Snell of Richmond, Madison County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
