A RESOLUTION recognizing Ginger High Colvin upon the occasion of her 500th 1
victory as head coach of the Campbellsville University women's basketball team. 2
WHEREAS, on February 15, 2025, at Georgetown College, the Campbellsville 3
University Lady Tigers women's basketball team defeated Georgetown College by a 4
score of 80 to 72, marking the 500th victory for Ginger High Colvin as head coach of the 5
Lady Tigers; and 6
WHEREAS, Ginger High Colvin’s career at Campbellsville University has been 7
nothing short of legendary. She has amassed 500 total victories against only 100 losses in 8
18 seasons as head coach; and 9
WHEREAS, Ginger High Colvin has transformed the Lady Tigers into a perennial 10
powerhouse, boasting multiple National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) 11
Fab Four appearances and conference championships. Her teams have consistently 12
ranked among the nation’s best, and her coaching accolades include multiple Mid-South 13
Conference Coach of the Year awards and the prestigious Women's Basketball Coaches 14
Association (WBCA) National Coach of the Year honor in 2023 and 2024; and 15
WHEREAS, as a Campbellsville alumna herself, Ginger High Colvin’s ties to the 16
program run deep. A former Lady Tiger standout, she set records that still stand today, 17
including the NAIA national record for highest assist average in a career. Her seamless 18
transition from player to coach has only strengthened her legacy, as she continues to 19
mold championship caliber teams year after year; and 20
WHEREAS, beyond her many accolades, Ginger High Colvin’s impact on the 21
program extends far beyond wins and losses. She has fostered a culture of excellence, 22
mentorship, and personal growth, shaping the lives of countless student-athletes both on 23
and off the court. Her ability to develop talent, instill discipline, and inspire confidence 24
has cemented her reputation as one of the premier coaches in the sport; and 25
WHEREAS, Ginger High Colvin's milestone 500th win not only adds another 26

relentless dedication and passion for the game; and 1
WHEREAS, the legacy of excellence that Ginger High Colvin has established at 2
Campbellsville University is certainly deserving of public recognition; 3
NOW, THEREFORE, 4
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 5
Kentucky: 6
Section 1. The members of the Senate join Senator Max Wise in recognizing 7
Ginger High Colvin upon the occasion of her 500th coaching victory with the 8
Campbellsville University Lady Tigers women's basketball team, congratulating her on 9
her record of achievement, and wishing her and her players good fortune in all future 10
endeavors. 11
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 12
Resolution to Senator Max Wise for presentation to Ginger High Colvin. 13
