Provides that economically disadvantaged students shall be included as a factor for purposes of teacher evaluations and requirements for enrollment of at-risk students in charter schools
Authorizes the state Dept. of Education and the Dept. of Health to survey students regarding certain risk behavior associated with chronic health conditions
Requires school crisis management and response plans to provide for parental notification in the event of a shooting or other violent incident or emergency situation
Requests a study relative to allowing Anatomy and Physiology to count in addition to, rather than as a substitute for, Biology II for Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) award qualification and high school graduation
Requires certain public school governing authorities with a policy of denying nutrition to students to implement certain procedures (EN SEE FISC NOTE LF EX See Note)
