Regular Session, 2010 HOUSE BILL NO. 1193 BY REPRESENTATIVE RICHMOND AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:1321(A), relative to special identification cards; to allow2 persons seventeen years of age to obtain a special identification card without a3 parental signature; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 40:1321(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6 ยง1321. Special identification cards; issuance; fees; expiration and renewal;7 exceptions; promulgation of rules; promotion of use; persons less than8 twenty-one years of age; the Protect and Save our Children Program;9 Selective Service Registration10 A. Any Louisiana resident may obtain a special identification card from the11 office of motor vehicles within the Department of Public Safety and Corrections,12 hereinafter referred to as "OMV".
