AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 32:412.2(A)(2), relative to disabled veterans; to decrease the2
disability threshold for exemption from driver's license fees; and to provide for3
related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 32:412.2(A)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6
§412.2. Disabled veteran exemption7
A. A veteran of service in the United States Armed Forces shall be exempt8
from the payment of fees under this Chapter for the issuance of a driver's license if9
the veteran meets all of the following qualifications:10

(2) Has a service-related disability of at least sixty fifty percent.12
