HIGHWAYS: Provides for the designation of the Myths and Legends Byway
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 56:1948.5(57), relative to highways; to designate a section of2
certain highways as the Myths and Legends Louisiana Byway; and to provide for3
related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 56:1948.5(57) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6
ยง1948.5. Louisiana Byways designations7
The following highways and sections of highways are hereby designated as8
Louisiana Byways:9

(57) The portion of US 190 from the Louisiana-Texas border to the city limits11
of DeRidder. Myths and Legends Byway:12
(a) LA 8 from the Texas/Louisiana border eastward to its intersection with13
LA 111 southward to its intersection with US 190.14
(b) US 190 from the Texas/Louisiana border to the intersection of US 190.15
(c) LA 112, east along LA 112 to the intersection.16
(d) LA 113 in Sugartown, northeasterly from Sugartown to the intersection.17
(e) LA 10 in Pitkin then southeasterly along LA 10 to the intersection with18
US 165 in Oakdale.19
